Dana Jefferson is an Events Manager in the office of the Chancellor and Provost at UC Davis. Her portfolio includes events such as the Staff Assembly Awards, Campus Community Book Project Dinner, Chancellor’s Colloquium Distinguished Speaker Series, Commencement, and other departmental events.

Dana has been a dedicated member of the UC Davis community since 2015 beginning with various roles in Continuing and Professional Education, where she demonstrated exceptional organizational skills. Her contributions to Public Scholarship and Engagement as an Executive Analyst further underscore her commitment to fostering academic excellence. Dana is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience, specializing in event management and executive support.
Before joining UC Davis, Dana honed her expertise in roles at some of the world's leading companies, including The Coca-Cola Company, The Clorox Company and Nestle USA (Dreyer’s Ice Cream), where she collaborated closely with senior leadership to drive operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
Dana has a proven track record of success in both corporate and academic environments and works hard to shape positive outcomes in her work.
