WHAT I DO

As the Chancellor's Residence and Events Manager, I serve as the guardian and orchestrator of one of the university's most prestigious spaces. Working closely with the Director of Ceremonies and Special Events, I ensure that this historic home is always ready to welcome distinguished guests, from academic luminaries to generous donors and alumni. I craft detailed briefings for the Chancellor, curate menus, and coordinate with caterers to create memorable experiences for every occasion.

Beyond event planning, I act as the vital bridge between the Chancellor's Office and the university community, managing the residence's busy calendar and maintaining its impeccable condition. Additionally, I develop clear procedures for visitors while providing essential support to the Chancellor. Whether it's coordinating formal university functions or ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, I help maintain this important space as both a home and a symbol of university leadership.

Caress is a dynamic event producer and storyteller with over a decade of experience crafting engaging experiences across 150+ college campuses nationwide. With a Master's in Performance Studies from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's in Communications from Wiley College, she brings a unique blend of academic insight and practical expertise to her work. Her versatile portfolio includes keynote speaking, writing workshops, and diversity programming, alongside customized events for both private and corporate clients.

A recognized leader in campus programming, Caress has served as both a member and host for major industry conferences including NACA (National Association for Campus) and APCA (Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities). Her production credits span prestigious institutions and media outlets, including the National Gallery of Art, BET, TVOne, PBS, and the Arizona Opera. Most recently featured on Season 6 of Netflix's "The Circle," Caress leverages her background in live stage and on-camera production to create compelling events that captivate audiences.
